The hotel was built in 1874, in a time period called “Gründerzeit”. In 1992 the house was completely renovated and is now a family operated hotel with an historic ambience, which meets the high standards our guests demand of both business activities and and living comfort.

Set in a calm location in Plagwitz, the most important district of Leipzig from a historical development point of view, you can easily enjoy all the activities and sights in the renowned trade fair city.

The Leipzig Arena, host to numerous concerts and events, is about 800m away. Shops and other facilities are located in the shopping centers Elsterpark or

Allee-Center near the hotel. The "Connewitzer Holz", the largest German riparian forest, crossed by the two rivers Elster and Pleiße, is within walking distance.

The racecourse at the former car racing circuit called "Scheibenholz" and the Clara Zetkin Park invite you to an excursion. You can also decide for a hike of 20 minutes in Leipzig's "Grüne Lunge" (a park), which extends to the city center and to the New Town Hall. Or you can go on a canoe or boat trip on the “Karl Heine-Kanal" nearby.
